The Ministry of Economic Affairs' Investment Taiwan Office announced today (7th) that 5 more companies have expanded their investment in Taiwan. Among them, laser equipment manufacturer Taiwan Axis Technology will invest 400 million yuan to build a new factory and introduce digitalization and intelligence.

Taiwan Axis Technology mainly manufactures and develops laser processing equipment. Its products are widely used in many fields such as automobiles, medical care, national defense, and semiconductors. The company is known for its customized products and perfect after-sales service mechanism, and has successfully expanded its market to countries such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and Vietnam. In order to provide customers with a more secure and reliable sustainable partnership, Axis Technology has invested more than 400 million in the Taichung Port Science and Technology Industrial Park to build a headquarters plant and purchase additional equipment. The new plant will introduce digital management, big data analysis, and investment in robotic arms. The investment plan also includes a number of energy-saving and carbon-reduction measures, such as adding solar panels and promoting paperless office, to contribute to Taiwan's industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, and move towards the goal of sustainable operation.
