At a Pivotal Moment in Smart Logistics, Otobro Launches Next-Gen Autonomous Warehouse Solutions Featuring High-Speed Climbing Robots
As global supply chains rapidly transform and smart logistics becomes the new norm, Taiwan Otobro Technology Co., Ltd. (otobro) is riding the wave of change at the forefront of the industry. On June 27, during the Smart Logistics System Launch Event, otobro officially introduced its latest intelligent autonomous warehousing solution—HaiPick System 5 (HPS5). In addition to the HPS5, Otobro highlighted four key technologies: the four-way shuttle, mini automated sorter, ARB sorter, and intelligent picking wall — underscoring its position as a leader in smart logistics.
The event attracted key customers from the electronics manufacturing, pharmaceutical e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL) sectors. Attendees praised the performance of the high-speed climbing robot and expressed great interest in the system's deployment efficiency and advanced algorithm capabilities.
A Revolution of Speed and Flexibility
Designed by HAI ROBOTICS, the HPS5 system is exclusively distributed and deeply integrated in Taiwan by otobro, its only certified and authorized partner. This groundbreaking system introduces the industry’s first high-speed climbing robots system, enabling robots to both travel horizontally and climb vertically. It can move in curves and diagonals across 3D space—breaking the conventional constraint that warehouse robots can only move in straight lines.
Live demonstrations revealed that each HPS5 robot can automatically complete positioning, lifting, picking, and departing tasks within seconds, performing with smoothness and stability. This showcases a system designed not just for speed—but for intelligent speed.

Human-Machine Collaboration Elevated, Lower Operational Barriers
In addition to hardware innovations, the HPS5 is paired with intelligent workstations and picking walls, enhancing the human-machine interaction experience. Operators simply follow five intuitive steps: Pick, Scan, Check, Place, and Confirm, allowing seamless operation with minimal training—highlighting the system’s exceptional usability and inclusivity.
The HPS5 also offers remarkable deployment flexibility. Supporting track heights up to 12 meters and weighing only 75 kg per unit, the entire setup can be completed within three months—over 30% faster than traditional systems. It also supports modular expansion, multi-floor transport, and multi-temperature zone operations, truly delivering "one system to connect the warehouse of the future."

Smart Algorithms for Efficiency and Sustainability
Notably, HPS5 is not just a warehousing system—it’s a platform powered by algorithms. With features like dynamic bin repositioning, simultaneous picking and replenishment, and 3D obstacle avoidance, the system significantly reduces robot travel paths and idle time. Internal testing shows a 30% boost in single-robot efficiency and a 20% reduction in the total number of robots required, effectively lowering both energy consumption and investment costs.
Otobro revealed that the system is already deployed in European fashion e-commerce and Asian pharmaceutical distribution centers, achieving a 99.9% shipping accuracy rate and 35% shorter order fulfillment cycles. The company plans to expand HPS5 applications into semiconductors, cold chain logistics, and ESG-related projects later this year.

Looking Ahead: Toward Truly Sustainable Warehousing Solutions
“We’re not simply selling equipment—we’re delivering a comprehensive strategy for warehouse transformation,” said Otobro General Manager Lukas Lai . “HPS5 is our concrete answer to the future of smart logistics. We will continue collaborating with HAI ROBOTICS, system integrators, and industry partners to develop real-time carbon monitoring modules and flexible dispatch solutions, enabling enterprises to meet ESG requirements while achieving true efficiency and sustainability.”
