Rapid-Climbing Robot
Category: Industrial Automation
Exhibitor: OTOBRO LTD.
Booth No: L606
Characteristic
The industry’s first "Rapid-Climbing Robot" architecture enables a single robot to possess both ground mobility and vertical climbing capabilities, with the added ability to move along curved and diagonal paths. Live demonstrations show that the robot can autonomously complete a series of actions—such as positioning, lifting, and bin docking—after reaching its destination, with improved smoothness and stability.
Paired with an ergonomically optimized desktop workstation, operators only need to perform five simple steps—pick, scan, check, place, and press—to complete the picking and sorting process, allowing general staff to become proficient within just ten minutes.
In terms of spatial efficiency, the storage density reaches up to 37.5 bins per square meter, and the track-based shelving supports heights up to 12 meters. The robot itself weighs only 75 kilograms, which not only reduces floor load but also shortens deployment time to within three months, over 30% faster than traditional solutions.
The system also integrates multiple intelligent algorithms, including "return while picking," "heat-based bin reordering," "curved path driving," and "3D obstacle avoidance," resulting in up to 30% improvement in individual robot efficiency and over 20% reduction in the total number of robots needed, significantly lowering both energy consumption and maintenance costs.
