Standing for general purpose long-life, the GPL expands upon our successful GP series and expands overall service life to last even longer in general purpose applications. GPL is designed specifically for a multitude of applications from security, emergency lighting, medical, and other various applications.
1. VRLA-AGM construction, maintenance free, no need to add water and able to be installed in multiple physical orientations without affecting service life.
2. Special proprietary formula utilizes 99.99% pure lead ingot in production for lead oxide, lead plate grids, and other lead components.
3. Optional flame-retardant ABS case construction.
4. UL1973 Certified (file number MH66728) + UL recognized under UL1989 (file number MH14533).
5. Comply with IATA/ICAO Special Provision A67 for air transport, are classified per MG Amendment 27 as a non-hazardous material for water transport and recognized by DOT as “Dry charge” 49 CFR 171-189 for surface transport.
