The entire working area of the cutting system is detected via area scan and the further processing is aligned accordingly. The area scan detects all fiducial marks and printed contours by scanning the entire work area once. The time for scanning fiducial marks is significantly reduced. The contour detection can significantly optimize material utilization. The space required for placing the marks is reduced. Many applications require precise cutting to existing fiducial marks or other material references. For this purpose, eurolaser offers a smart solution consisting of a camera and evaluation software. Using reference points, the optical recognition system allows printed materials to be cut out precisely along the print contour.
