In fact, the "Jueying" series of robot dogs designed by another company, DEEP Robotics, has also reached an advanced level among similar products internationally. Among them, the "Jueying X20" robot dog is its first industrial-grade waterproof four-legged robot, equipped with precise navigation, dynamic obstacle avoidance, terrain recognition and other functions, which can assist humans in completing security inspections, detection and exploration, public rescue and other tasks, so as to reduce the danger of on-site work and the intensity of repetitive mechanical labor.

The Jueying X20 robot dog can plan its own charging route, work in an unlimited cycle, and can operate for more than 2 hours with a 20 kg load, and can operate for more than 4 hours without a load. It can easily cross 20 cm high obstacles and stairs, climb 30° slopes, and adapt to complex environments such as grass, sand, snow, gravel, and water. The Jueying X20 is equipped with multiple depth cameras and multi-line laser radars, combined with AI and intelligent algorithms, and can achieve precise natural navigation, dynamic obstacle avoidance, terrain recognition, human-computer interaction and other functions. Researchers have also successfully added a flexible "arm" to it, which can complete specified actions according to voice commands. After the upgrade, the 50kg Jueying X20 robot dog can carry 85kg of load and walk steadily. The maximum operating load is 1.7 times its own weight, which exceeds the weight of similar weight robot dogs at home and abroad.

Traditional wheeled robots cannot adapt to complex outdoor terrain. Although drones can overcome some problems, they are difficult to operate in harsh environments, and their endurance and module expansion capabilities are limited by size and load. The Jueying X20 can be equipped with more and heavier functional modules and materials, which further expands the potential scenarios of the robot dog industry. Previously, Yunshenchu ​​Technology has combined specific industry application needs to allow the "Jueying" series of robot dogs to assist workers in completing security inspections, detection and exploration, public rescue and other tasks. Taking power inspection as an example, most substations use traditional manual inspection methods, which are highly repetitive and intensive. Due to the constraints of many factors such as the psychological quality, business level, work experience and mental state of the inspectors, missed inspections, misinspections and missed defects often occur. Equipment defects caused by these reasons may cause circuit accidents. The "Jueying" robot dog can complete routine inspections, meter reading and automatic storage and comparison analysis, infrared precise temperature measurement, and automatic background archiving and analysis in the complex terrain of the substation, which is better than wheeled robots. In the past, different robots were required for the outdoor and indoor environments of the substation, but now only one "Jueying" is needed, which can reduce inspection costs and improve management efficiency. Of course, there are also fire rescue assistance tasks with firefighters, allowing the robot dog to use the thermal imaging, toxic gas detection and other visual and sensing modules to help obtain on-site information, effectively reduce risk factors, protect firefighters and assist in rescue.

By the end of 2023, Yunshenchu ​​Technology's latest flagship X30 robot dog will be available, with IP67 industrial-grade protection and can operate in an environment of -20°C to 55°C. It can flexibly go up and down 45° stairs, and can steadily climb hollow industrial stairs, so as to respond to sudden mission needs in the first time and quickly penetrate more complex scenes and blind spots.
