Precisely positioned automation systems are the foundation for various industries to realize the vision of smart automation. In order to help the industry solve this problem, ICOP Technology recently launched The 86STEP stepper motor with built-in encoder.
86STEP is a cost-effective stepper motor capable of detecting lost steps. Its optical encoder embedded design can directly monitor the motor rotor position. By reading the encoder feedback position with a resolution from 8,192ppr to 16,384ppr, the controller can realize the closed-loop function while retaining the advantages of the stepper motor and detecting missing step problems. This effectively improves the safety and reliability of the device for applications that require location verification and location maintenance.
