With the increasing application of AI technology in industries, ICOP has integrated AI technology into the development steps of QEC EtherCAT. Using graphical tools, it generates integrated parameter programs that can be referenced by Chat AI for automatic code generation. Leveraging the open-source framework of 86Duino Coding IDE, AI can quickly perform C/C++ programming and coding, lowering the technical development threshold for users while simplifying the development process of industrial automation systems and significantly reducing the time engineers spend writing code.
The graphical software tools of QEC EtherCAT include EtherCAT configuration tools, HMI user interface editors, and drag-and-drop program block tools. These tools allow users to configure, monitor, design, and control systems through an intuitive graphical interface, automatically generating 86Duino code and library APIs. This not only significantly lowers the technical threshold for users but also reduces development time and costs.
Application of Open Source Technology
Most industrial applications require high precision and synchronized operation speed, which are complex and have long development cycles. However, by using the QEC-supported open-source 86Duino IDE development environment, supporting C/C++ programming languages and Arduino interface, developers can utilize existing open-source resources for secondary development.
The 86Duino environment can be expanded using libraries, similar to most programming platforms. Libraries provide additional functions for sketches, such as working with hardware or data processing. The integrated development environment installs many libraries, 86Duino supports most standard Arduino libraries, and provides dedicated libraries to utilize specific hardware features of 86Duino, such as EtherCAT, Motion86, CANBus, Modbus, etc. You can also download or create your own libraries.
