Additionally, this series is built on a high-performance distributed architecture, supporting FOE online firmware updates to facilitate convenient system maintenance. The expansion chassis includes an Explicit Device ID function, enhancing device identification and management. Furthermore, with a control cycle time of up to 100 microseconds, the EC4 series ensures high-speed and precise real-time control.

In terms of durability and safety, the EC4 series incorporates overvoltage and overcurrent protection mechanisms. When system voltage or current exceeds safe limits, it automatically triggers a circuit break to prevent equipment damage, enhancing system stability. Its robust design allows it to operate reliably in extreme environments, withstanding temperatures ranging from -25°C to +75°C.

Moreover, the EC4 series supports customization services, allowing users to adjust the number of I/O channels or integrate specific functionalities based on their needs. It also provides EtherCAT I/O slave station planning consultation, helping customers develop solutions that best suit their application requirements.
