The Key Locking Threaded Inserts (also known as Loksert, Keysert, or Keensert) are threaded inserts featuring locking keys that are driven into the parent material to establish a permanent, high-strength thread in weaker substrates

Drill and tap the hole to feature specs.
Screw the insert into the base material with hand tool.
Tap down the locking key pins using a secondary tool to secure the insert
